Dimapur, April 29 (MExN): “The Northern Sumi Sub-Region of NSCN (U) joins NSCN (K) en block led by RAO with the confidence of all the members of the region,” stated an update received from RAO, NSSR on Monday.
It stated that the members expressed their “allegiance to re-dedicate the spirits of Nationalism to work under the dynamic leadership of His Excellency, the President Lieut Gen (Retd) Khango Konyak and Ato Kilonser Hokato Vusshe who is spearheading the Indo-Naga political cause at this crucial period.”
“Meanwhile, we express our unhappiness over the continuous split within the group for the Leadership manipulation game and personal financial gain since the group formed in 2007 which adversely threats the Nagas National cause at large,” it stated.
“The members also realised that it was fruitless to have worked in the Unification group without any progress in political agenda, thereby describe the group as an unorganized group,” the RAO, NSSR stated.
“In the meantime, the contributions of the CSOs, Churches, intellectuals, National workers and entire general public of their region cannot be erased from the annals of Naga history as a victim for the interest of the certain group of people so called representing Naga peoples,” it added.
