Dimapur, April 23 (MExN): The NPF Central Office Secretary, Mukibur Rahman has passed away on Friday morning at Referral Hospital, Dimapur around 10:45 am following a “sudden heart attack.”

NPF: Expressing shock over the sudden demise, NPF, President, Dr Shürhozelie Leizietsü in a press note remembered late Mukibur Rahman as an honest and selfless party leader who gave his best and work for the upliftment of the party. “His demise is a great loss to the NPF and the vacuum created by him will be difficult to be replaced and the party will always fondly remember him,” Leizietsü said. The party conveyed condolence to the bereaved family members and pray to the Almighty to grant solace.

NPF Minority Wing: The NPF Minority Wing, Central, President, Bishnu Bhattacharjee while expressing sadness over the demise of late Mukibur Rahman said that he was a leader who was above party politics, ‘a leader for the people and community’. “During his short span of life, he was assigned with multiple responsibilities in various apolitical and political organizations,” a press note from the Wing stated. It also extended condolences to the bereaved family. 

BJP Nagaland: BJP Nagaland President Tejem Imna Along in his condolence note paid tribute to late Mukibar Rahman as an enthusiastic social activist and a well known figure amongst the Minority Community in the State of Nagaland. 

He had given the best of his years to serve the State BJP Nagaland in various capacities as former Mandal President of BJYM Dimapur 3, State General Secretary BJYM, State Vice-President BJYM, with his last stint in BJP as the former Minority Morcha President - before he went on to join NPF Party. He was also a passionate social worker who served the Naharbari Village Council as its Secretary and his immense contribution towards the society are well noted, Temjen Imna recollected. 

The rank and file of State BJP Nagaland conveyed condolences to the grieving family members with prayers. 

Dy CM: Dy CM Y Patton condoled the demise of late Mukibur Rahman, former president of BJP Minority Morcha. Patton said that late Rahman was a leader of the downtrodden and a compassionate human being who worked for the upliftment of the weaker and minority sections. “Though he is gone, his good deeds will be remembered by the people, especially by those with whom he worked,” Patton said and extended condolences to the bereaved family.
