Kohima, November 18 (MExN): Naga People's Front (NPF) President, Dr Shürhozelie Liezietsu has expressed grief over the sudden demise of Er TL Semdok on November 18.
Late Er Semdok was not only the Central Executive Member of the Party representing Longleng Division but also an official candidate of the NPF in the last 2018 General Assembly election, Liezietsu informed in a condolence note.
“I am deeply pained and mourned over the death of one of my senior and staunch regionalist who has left for his heavenly abode,” he said, adding that the party was ‘privileged to have such an active and able leader to work with.”
In his untimely death, the party has lost an efficient leader whose contribution towards the party and people’s welfare will be difficult to be replaced, he added.
Liezietsu , on his own behalf and on behalf of the rank and file of the NPF also conveyed heartfelt condolences to the family members of late Er Semdok and prayed to the Almighty to grant them solace and comfort.
“May the departed soul rest in eternal peace.”
