Peren, February 11 (MExN): The NPF Peren division has expressed support to the decision of Chief Minister TR Zeliang and Dr. Shurhouzelie Liezietsu, President, Naga People’s Front regarding the present issue, which it said is in compliance with constitutional obligation. A decision in this regard was taken during a consultative meeting of the division held with both 6 & 7 assembly constituencies and all the frontal organizations of the party, including CEC on February 11 at Jalukie Town, informed a press release from Ahiam, Press Secretary, NPF Peren division. “The question of CM stepping down does not arise as it is illogical and unconstitutional as he has 59 legislators behind him,” the NPF division added, while appealing to all the Nagas and general public to foster peace and tranquility amongst us.
