Since, the announcement of Relief Package is for the whole country which will cover all the States and Union Territories in India, the NPF urged the PDA Government to use the Relief Package judiciously for the sake of the citizens of Nagaland.
The party also suggested that every funding in this regard should be made transparent so that “even if there is shortage of fund or man power, citizens of Nagaland will surely come forward in shouldering the responsibility together if only Government of the day executes things in a transparent manner.”
The NPF meanwhile expressed concern that despite setting up quarantine centers, adequate doctors, nurses as well as the required safety kits and equipment should be made available. It appealed that the government do the needful in all districts and not just Kohima and Dimapur.
