NPP resolves to bring change in Nagaland

Dimapur, May 3 (MExN): Nagaland state executives of the National People’s Party (NPP) held a consultative meeting with NPP party workers of Wokha on April 30. 

The State Executives were led by the State President Dr Andrew Ahoto Sumi along with ten party officials namely, Philip Lam, Secretary (Organising); Imnameren Walling, Secretary (IPR); N Jacob Krocha, General Secretary (Admin); Justin Lotha, General Secretary, IPR (also President, National People’s Youth Front); Lima Longchar, Advisor; Y Khehoto Awomi, Vice President; Hiketo Shohe, Secretary Youth Affairs; AK Naga, Secretary Youth Front; and Tito Naga, Secretary (Political), a press release informed on Monday.   

As per the release, Dr Andrew expressed gratitude to the NPP Wokha unit office bearers for the warm reception during the meeting which deliberated on the forthcoming 2023 State general elections. He further stated that the party will set up NPP candidates in some districts in Nagaland. The party also resolved to work for the betterment of society and to bring a change to Nagaland.

All together around 60 party workers of Wokha NPP attended the meeting which includes two GBs and two ex-BJP officials. The visit of the State Executive to Wokha is a part of Nagaland State Executive district tour phase-I, the release stated.
