
Dimapur, November 18 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has condoled the demise of the untimely demise of Vareimi Kazingmei, Razou Peyu on the November 13 after a prolonged illness and 2nd Lieutenant Kothilran Dangshawa of the General Headquarters (GHq), Naga Army on November 17.
Late Kazingmei from Lunghar village under Wung Tangkhul Region (WTR) and enrolled in the Naga national service on the December 14, 2002 while late Dangshawa from Machi village under Khurmi Region joined on August 20, 2015.
They both served the Naga nation with unwavering patriotism until their demise and while the void created by their demise is deeply felt and would be difficult to fill in, their selfless contributions shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and they shall be remembered for all time to come, stated a condolence note from MIP, NSCN (IM).
The Adjutant General (AG) of the Naga Army has bestowed upon late Dangshawa the rank of Lieutenant on the November 17 posthumously in recognition of his service to the Naga nation, it said.
The NSCN (IM) further conveyed its condolences to the bereaved family members of late Kazingmei and late Dangshawa.
“It is our prayers that the Almighty God will comfort their family members during this time of grief. We pray for their souls to rest in eternal peace,” it added.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Kilo Affairs, NSCN (IM) has expressed sadness over the demise of Ashiho Mao, Deputy Kilonser on November 16 after brief illness. Hailing from from Tadubi Village under Shepoumaramth Region, he joined the Naga national service on October 7, 1993 and served the Naga nation with steadfast patriotism until his demise, stated a condolence message from M Daniel Lotha, Kilo Kilonser, NSCN (IM).
The bridge created by his passing away is deeply felt but for his selfless contribution to the Naga national cause, his name shall be archived in the pages of the Naga history and shall be remembered for all times to come, it said.
“I pray Almighty to shower strength to the bereaved members to bear the loss. May the departed soul rest in peace,” added the Kilonser in the message addressed to Greekli , wife of late Ashiho.
