DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 18 (MExN): Following a transporter seeking clarification from the NSCN (IM) with regard to alleged “extortion,” the two parties on October 17 reportedly met, discussed the issue and agreed on certain points “mutually.” An undertaking signed by both the transporter, Mughavi N Zhimomi of M/S Zhimomi Transport and S Among Lim, Secretary i/C, Ministry of Kilo Affairs, NSCN (IM) was released to the media on October 18. It stated that “the pertaining issues that came about from misunderstanding shall not be taken further. The document also said that the transporter has “already clarified that the name of Ningshim John was misquoted due to misidentification.” It further stated that the NSCN (IM) would look into the “difficulties and issues faced by the transporter in the coming days to be addressed.”
