Dimapur, January 3 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has refuted reports that the 35th Assam Rifles (AR) apprehended an ‘over ground’ worker of NSCN on January 1, at Phuktong under Mon district, with a .32 mm pistol and magazine.
“We have nothing to do with the apprehended person and have no link whatsoever. However, the AR indulgence in such a game plan to put NSCN in a bad light is nothing new. The AR should stop forthwith to link any anti-social element apprehended with NSCN,” it said in a statement issued by its MIP on Sunday.
