Dimapur, August 31 (MExN): The NSCN-K (Khango-Vusshe) has expressed profound grief over the untimely demise of Kilonser Shiwoto Yeptho, who passed away on August 29.
In a condolence statement issued by its Ministry of Information and Publicity, the outfit stated that Yeptho hailed from Luhezhe village under Niuland district. He joined the Naga national service in 2001 as a regional worker and steadily rose through the ranks to become a Kilonser (Minister), serving with dedication and sincerity.
The group described his passing as the "end of an era" and an immense loss to the people and the Naga national movement. It highlighted Yeptho's courage in challenging injustice and his role in advancing the rights and dignity of the Naga people.
Extending condolences to the bereaved family members, comrades, and colleagues, the NSCN-K (Khango-Vusshe) prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and stated that his legacy would continue to guide future generations.
