DIMAPUR, AUGUST 4 (MExN): The NSCN Khaplang has cautioned extortionists in Dimapur informing that it had been brought to the knowledge of its Chaplee Ministry that criminal imposters using the missing/lost official receipts and letter heads belonging to Union Territory, GPRN are engaged in collecting shop taxes in and around Dimapur town. Besides this, demand letters are also being distributed in town areas and accounting the same to G.Sema, Chairman, UT, stated a MIP press note.
It is therefore informed that G.Sema is allotted administration including financial affairs of UT as demarcated from Purana Bazar to Ghaspani and henceforth no such taxation demands impersonating G.Sema be entertained except within the specified area.
In this connection, it has fore-warned that capital punishment would be meted out to such criminal elements if apprehended and to avoid getting duped. Further the concerned commercial establishments have been told to promptly notify the GPRN assigned officials and also the State Police for immediate intervention.
