DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 13 (MExN): It has been brought to the knowledge of the NSCN/GPRN authority that certain individual with the name Hemail Sumi purportedly claiming himself as the Secretary, Union Territory, NSCN/GPRN is found to be randomly and without any official appointment/assignment organizing fund mobilization, forceful collections etc in and around Dimapur. This was informed in a press note issued by MIP NSCN/GPRN Khaplang. In this connection, it was informed that the alleged person has no official standing in the NSCN/GPRN as he is a mere public and at no point of time ever enrolled or has served the Government. The NSCN/GPRN has therefore disowned “such self styled element and cautions the business communities/wellwishers/establishments etc. to refrain from entertaining any dealings with the notified person under any circumstances”.
In a separate press note from NSCN/GPRN Chaplee Ministry issued through MIP, it was pointed out that there had been reports of fraud and impersonation by criminals and extortionists in and around Dimapur, randomly serving extortion notes and illegal collections using unauthorized and bogus identity particularly within Dimapur town. According to the press note, it has been established that certain anti-NSCN/GPRN (K) dacoits faking themselves as empowered by G. Sema , UT-Chairman are actively mobilizing fund collections, donations, government taxes etc.
Therefore it was clarified and informed that as per the jurisdiction allotted, G.Sema was authorized to only deal with the prescribed area-Purana Bazar to Ghaspani, whereas any financial affairs other than UT including Dimapur Town, various Public or Private establishments, commercial centers or any other Finance related transactions shall be judiciously and accountably dealt by the Finance Ministry NSCN/GPRN.
Any official without authorization letter from the Finance Ministry be not entertained, the press note informed and “so also bogus authorization claim purportedly issued by G. Sema be considered null and void”. “The reports of impersonation of NSCN/GPRN official Aron Kits by certain criminals and involving in the same modus-operandi on various departments in and around Dimapur also be discredited. Henceforth any such approaches, cajoling or related threats or extortion activities if detected, be immediately reported to the Finance Ministry Official-Finance Secretary, ph.no.9402993566, 9862108696”, informed the press note from the Chaplee Ministry.
