DIMAPUR, JULY 14 (MExN): The National Socialist Council of Nagaland Khaplang has stated that the “outright complicity of Khehoi Gang and Nagaland Police has once again been brought to light with the latest incident at Kiphire”. A press note issued by the MIP stated that the “prejudiced and un-proven accusation by Nagaland Police (Dimapur) basing on the concocted testimony provided by Khehoi Gang in connection to the recent Bomb blast at 3rd mile Dimapur where in Lance Corp. Mulaho Sumi was alleged as co-conspirator without any proof”.
The NSCN Khaplang stated that it had already clarified it’s position and had even provided the Police through media, the presence of Mulaho in Kohima during the time of blast incident in Dimapur. To corroborate the truth, the witnesses, Captain Balie Angami and 2nd.Lieut. Nikhuvi Sumi (both Khehoi Members), who were playing Billiard at Jail Colony Kohima in the presence of Mulaho Sumi, had even suggested to confirm these un-deniable facts from the living witness themselves”.
However, it stated that while Mulaho was on marriage engagement leave in his native village Sitimi (Kiphire), 2ndlieut. Obed Sumi (Khehoi) was sent down from Sangphure by higher-ups of Khehoi “to entrap Mulaho” and that “Obed narrated his willingness to join NSCN/GPRN and urged Mulaho to accompany him to Sangphure village where Khehoi gangsters were camping, so that they could make-off with the weapons and join the NSCN”. Convinced with the sweet lies, Mulaho a simple innocent cadre while accompanying Obed to Sangphure, was way-laid as pre-planned and captured.
The MIP note alleged that Mulaho was interrogated using third degree torture but being innocent of the allegation denied having any knowledge of the incident or his involvement. “When their threat and torture bore no results, the Khehoi gang manipulated the interrogation statements as Mulaho having admitted to his participation in the blast, communicated with SDPO Kiphire and SDPO himself arrived at Sangphure took custody of Mulaho and later handed over the innocent victim to Dimapur Police”, the MIP note narrated.
The NSCN Khaplang stated that the “SDPO Kiphire shall be held personally culpable of the highest order of crime against the NSCN and no efforts shall be spared to bring to justice, the conspirators in the anti-Naga plot”.
