Dimapur, July 31 (MExN): The NSDMA has notified that moderate to heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorm and moderate lightning is likely to occur in many places over the following districts: Phek, Tuensang(Noklak), Kiphire, Wokha (Bhandari), Kohima, Zunheboto, Mokokchung and Longleng on July 31.
In the wake of extreme weather conditions, the NSDMA has advised the public to refrain from going to vulnerable spots like landslide prone areas and also avoid movement and overnight stay beside river banks. Further, the public have been advised to be cautious during lightning and thunderstorms.
