NSF asks youth to follow COVID SOPs

KOHIMA, DECEMBER 17 (MExN): The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) today said that it is perplexed at the complacent attitude of a section of the Naga youth and students’ not adhering to the COVID-19 SOPs.

A press release from the federation expressed anxiety at the risk posed by the potential “super-spreading events” scheduled during the festive season.

It asked the students’ and youth community to restrain themselves in-order to keep Naga society free from the virus. The NSF appealed all educated students and youths to strictly adhere to the SOPs throughout the festive season and beyond.

It further urged the students’ and youth community to be torchbearers in instilling a sense of discipline to the public in-order to contain the spread of the disease if not stop it altogether.

The NSF meanwhile directed its federating units and sub-ordinate bodies to ensure all scheduled conferences, sports meets, jubilees and other events are carried out in full conformity with the laid down norms. It also requested that their respective constituent units are properly instructed on the same.

It suggested that all federating and sub-ordinate bodies dedicate a brief session of their scheduled events for creating awareness on COVID-19 to all the participants.
