Dimapur, July 28 (MExN): The Naga Students’ Federation reiterates the caution that any individual or department appointing any candidate “through backdoor without proper conduct of examination affected out of the Retirement Act since 31st October 2009” would be met with censure. The NSF leaders issued an “open press statement” today reiterating resolve to fight backdoor appointments.
The NSF urged the authorities in concern to “uphold the stand and affectively implement the Retirement act in total transparency at the earliest.” The NSF expressed concern for “more than 50,000” unemployed youth in the state “seeking jobs for survival.” The NSF said its stand “is very clear to its demand in making an attempt to safeguard the future of the younger generation and will continue to do so until its demand are fulfilled.” Any “resulting vacancies” affected out of the Act “should be transparent in toto with open competition” the organization said. It claimed that implementing the Retirement Act by the present government “is basically meant to provide employment to the competent unemployed youth of the state.”
“Henceforth the federation cautions that any individual/departments appointing any candidate through backdoor, without proper conduct of examination affected out of the Retirement Act since 31st October 2009, the NSF will not hesitate to fight against such odds with the responsible authority in order to defend its cause which is detrimental to the future generation under any circumstances.”
