DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 14 (MExN): The Nagaland Secretariat Service Association (NSSA) held their triennial conference at the Secretariat conference hall on December 13.
NSSA President, Chubasangla Longkumer extended her gratitude to the NSSA members. She asked the members of the association to stand strong and united and to be true torch-bearers wherever they are posted, as they render services to the government.
Stating that NSSA is one of the mature services in the State, she encouraged the members to serve with pride and dignity. She emphasized the sincerity and commitment to work with the younger members of the association.
An obituary reference was made in the house by Chubasangla for the members: Late Heluibe Zeliang, Ex-Jt. Secretary; Late Limatemjen I. Longkumer, Ex-Junior Section Officer (JSO); Late Veswesayi Kezo, Ex-Deputy Secretary; Late Khrieliehu Thur, Ex-Under Secretary; Late Atokali Chishi, Ex-Junior Section Officer (JSO); and Late Rabenthung Tungoe, Ex- Section Officer (SO).
The house unanimously approved the present elected members to continue serving: Chubasangla Longkumer – President; YP Along - Vice President; Benito K Swu - General Secretary; Chingai Panja - Assistant Secretary; Vibozoto Yiene- Treasurer; and Johnny Humtsoe, Ex-President, NSSA as the Advisor.
Other newly elected members are E LongphyoKikon as Vice President and Hosea Seb as Assistant Secretary.
General Secretary, NSSA, Benito K Swu announced the General Secretary Report for the period of December 7, 2019 to December 7, 2022 where he gave a detailed discussion on the NSSA General Body, NSS Cadre Position during the period, the various activities, and purposes by the NSSA, the NSSA Golden Jubilee Celebration, Covid-19 related activities by the Association, and NSS Cadre Review.
The programme was chaired by Vice President, NSSA, VK Lasuh. Treasure, NSSA, Vibozoto Yiene gave the Audit Report while Search Committee Report was provided by Joint Secretary, Finance Deputy, Neikedoulie.
