NSUI Kohima observes pre-Children Day

NSUI Kohima officials with winners of essay and art competition on November 13.

Kohima, Nov 13 (MExN): The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) Kohima unit today organized a pre-Children Day programme at Congress Bhavan, Kohima.

The results of the essay and art competition organized by NSUI Kohima were declared on the occasion.

The winners in art competition includes; 1st- Kevikhriezo Rutsa, 2nd- Theguoneizo Rutsa and 3rd-

Runoho Mesung. Essay: 1st- Lemchila Sangtam, 2nd- Boremo E. Ovung and 3rd- Vikhono Nagi.

Congratulating the prize winners, NSUI Kohima Unit President Seyievikho Linyü assured that more competitions will be organized to groom and promote the skills of the students.

Linyii remarked that late Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, had a special concern for children and on his birthday, the nation observes Children Day on November 14.

The function was chaired by Nokonu Khatso, Joint Secretary NSUI Kohima while welcome address was delivered by Wasenmo Magh, Vice President NSUI Kohima.

Vote of thanks was proposed by Sedevinuo Yhome , College Committee, NSUI Kohima.
