NTCP Zbto organizes virtual poem and slogan competition

Zunheboto, May 31 (MExN): The National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP), Zunheboto organised virtual poem and slogan competition in commemoration of World No Tobacco Day under the theme ‘Commit to Quit’ on May 31. 

Due to the pandemic and following Government SOP, only virtual poem and slogan competition was held, said a press release from Shekho Sophie, District Media Officer, CMO Office Zunheboto. The competition was attended by six Tobacco Free Schools under Zunheboto. All the winners were given certificate and cash prize. 

The poem competition winners were: 1st Sukhusho K Rotokha, Little Spring School; 2nd Akuvu Easter, Olympic Higher Secondary School; 3rd Tokavi K Zhimo, Immanuel Higher Secondary School. The slogan competition winners were: Mughakini Joy, Olympic Higher Secondary School, Elliot Awomi, Cornerstone Higher Secondary School and Kaino Z Zhimo of Seven Home School bagged the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize respectively. 

NTCP team Zunheboto also observed the occasion by giving gift hampers to COVID-19 patients in the COVID-19 Hospital and to COVID-19 duty staffs.
