Kohima, March 29 (MExN): The Nagaland University Students' Union (NUSU), Kohima Campus, Meriema successfully conducted its general election to induct new executives for the tenure 2020-2021 on March 27. Election of the new NUSU executives was conducted with Dr Ratan Kaurinta, Dean, Students' Welfare as the Election Commissioner and the current NUSU Executives (2019-2020) officiating the programme, according to a press release on Monday.
Second year students of the university franchised their votes and elected the new representatives. The new team will be led by Aliamoa S Longkumer as President; Vizosienuo Shuya as Vice President; Mhabemo N Odyuo as General Secretary; Kevichadzelie Suohu as Assistant General Secretary-cum-Bus Coordinator; Dangao Rume as Finance Secretary; Abeka H Shohe as Games and Sports Secretary; Anthony Syiemiong as Assistant Games and Sports Secretary; Rose Mary as Social and Cultural Secretary; N Fuchumlo Lotha as Magazine and Literary Secretary; Khangkhang Zeliang as Organizing Secretary; Kumlamo Patton as Statistical Secretary; Pfukruletuo Gwirie as Information Secretary and Nyumeila Phom as Women Coordinator.
