The Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) today selected 36 Belt & Mas Wrestlers to represent NWA in the forthcoming 12th All India Traditional Wrestling & Pankration Federation (AITWPF) National Traditional Wrestling & Pankration Championship 2024 scheduled for October 3-6 at Dehradun.

The Selection Camp was held today at Indira Gandhi Stadium Kohima.

Altogether, 61 wrestlers from NWA 3 affiliated units joined the Selection Trial Camp.

Earlier, in a brief function held before the commencement of the Camp, NWA president Vivolie Kezo delivered presidential note.
The programme was led Mitwatei Haibwang, vice president NWA while Vekhriyi Chuzho, Technical Secretary NWA shared technical briefing.

Meanwhile, the coaching camp for the selected wrestlers will be held at Indira Gandhi Stadium from 25 September onwards.
NWA joint secretary Kuzhovesa Soho requested all the selected wrestlers to join the camp positively.
