Mokokchung, August 18 (MExN): The Ongpangkong Students’ Conference (OKM) led by the OKM Grievances Cell Convenor, Akangmeren and OKM officials visited the landslide affected area at Alongmen Ward in Mokokchung.
In a press release, OKM Vice President Akangmeren said that the OKM requested the concerned department to look into relief efforts for the 30 households that were affected by the natural disaster. It also expressed hope that repairing works and necessary action will be initiated at the earliest.
It also acknowledged Minister for Housing and Mechanical, Tongpang Ozukum, the District Administration led by Deputy Commissioner Mokokchung and the Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority for their timely intervention.
