Kohima, August 23 (MExN): The one lane road at the landslide-affected portion of NH-29 (Old KMC Dumping Site) has reportedly been restored. It may be mentioned that the Kohima Police had enforced new traffic regulations on August 18 in view of the sinking road at old KMC dumping site, which had subsided following heavy rainfall in the last few days. While the highway was not completely cut off, the road had been diverted for clearance at the sinking site as precautionary measures, according to reports. The Kohima Police on Sunday informed that the road has been restored for all vehicular movement.
