Kohima, December 7 (MExN): One person was killed while another was seriously injured in a road accident, when their vehicle fell 30 ft below the road, crashing into the river at Kipfüzha, Kigwema on December 7.
The deceased identified as a 57 year old man from Viswema village was driving the vehicle when the accident occurred while his co-passenger, a 43 years old, sustained head injury and was admitted to a private hospital. The deceased and his co-passenger were returning to their village Viswema when the accident occurred around 4:00pm, informed police sources. The deceased is said to have died on the spot.
