Open letter to the Chief Secy and Governor of Nagaland

On behalf of the victimized officers in the department of Veterinary & AH, and humiliated publics that sir, with great restrain and painful hearts we would like to appeal to your highest authority and Excellency for immediate action on the errant, indecent and beastly behavior of a top bureaucrat called Shri. Imkonglemba, IAS, the Secretary to the government of Nagaland, department of Vety & AH, for misuse of power, his chair and beastly behaviors and actions that brings great shame to the department in particular and the people of Nagaland in general through his errant and contempt of the chair on the following accounts:

1. Habitually showing the middle finger to the public and the department officers with indecent actions while in his office chamber and in the meeting.

2. Habitual shouting and humiliating the public, employees, officers and so on with usage of vulgar language.

3. Insulting the whole veterinians as inefficient, and that being an animal department, we all look like animals themselves.

4. Excessive favouritism, tribalism and inciting disunity, hatred and division amongst the family fraternity of the department.

5. His dictatorial behavior and misuse of power, chair and random power delegation in the department, allotment of vehicles to close confidants without maintaining the office norms/ the hierarchy of the government systems etc. which demoralized many sincere and talented officers and staffs in the department.

6. Abuse of power by every time saying “Everything is in my hands, if I want I will do, if don’t want I will not do” for the proper utilization of fund meant for development is highly at stake..

We therefore, sincerely appeal to your highest authority and Excellency to kindly investigate the matter and immediately transfer him out from the department as well as ‘take corrective measures against the said errant officer’ with appropriate rule of the law, and save the noble profession and the people from the hand of such a disgraced/scornful officer before matters worsen.
