Mon, August 30 (MExN): The Zangkham Village Council, the mothers' association (KNSK), the Students' Union and the College Students' Union Forum of Zangkham Village in Mon district has condemned the alleged rape of a minor by one “Nungsang Lemtur alias Nungsangoba” in Dimapur.
“The Unions jointly condemned the uncivilised act committed upon a minor girl who is a bonafide citizen of Zangkham Village, who was working as domestic helper at his (accused) house,” read a statement from the organisations.
The organisations urged upon every right thinking citizen to condemn this uncivilised and barbaric act in our present society and seek justice for the victim and also requested the concerned authority to initiate liable punishment to the culprit as per the law.
