Outgoing Principal Director of DoH&FW urges to uphold spirit of teamwork

Kohima, January 30 (MExN): The Department of Health and Family Welfare (DoH&FW), Nagaland held a farewell programme for the outgoing Principal Director, Dr Vizolie Z Suokhrie at Directorate of Health & Family Welfare on January 30. 

Dr Suokhrie in his farewell address said that due to the COVID pandemic it was very challenging but with teamwork, unity, punctuality and discipline, things were made possible and had been a success journey so far. Therefore, he encouraged everyone to continue the spirit of teamwork.

According to a press note, Dr Suokhrie conveyed that it has been a wonderful journey throughout his 35 years of services. He did mention that there has been challenges and criticism along the way but encouraged not to be upset when criticism comes but to learn from it. He mentioned that criticism has been like a sharpener in his journey of service and quoted “without criticism life is very boring. It is a wonderful journey and challenges will continue but do not be discouraged and fight the challenges.”

Voluntary speeches were also delivered by Nagaland In-Service Doctors Association (NIDA), MDNHAK, CMO & MS of districts, Nursing Association, Health & Family Welfare Department and Family. 

Along with Principal Director, the farewell programme was also held for Dr Medemmangyang, Additional Director, DoH&FW, Kenonuo Rutsa, Jt Director (Nsg), Pratima Lama Stenographer (Grade-II). 

The programme was graced by Minister H&FW S Pangnyu Phom, Home Commissioner Abhijit Sinha, H&FW Principal Secretary, Amardeep Singh Bhatia, IAS and H&FW Secretary, Wezope Kenye.
