State Immunization Officer (SIO) Dr Ritu Thurr on Friday informed that a total of 2,68,356 vaccine doses have been administered in Nagaland so far.
As per the COVID-19 vaccination status on May 28, a total of 2,14,229 persons have been administered the first dose of Covishield vaccine. It includes healthcare workers (15,478), frontline workers (58,225), people in the 45 years and above age group (1,21,860) and those in the 18-44 years age group (18,666).
Further, 10,180 healthcare workers (public and private), 27,970 frontline workers and 15,977 people in the 45 years and above age group have received the second dose till date, indicating a total of 54,127 second doses administered till date.
As per the update, not a single person in the 18-44 years age group has received the second dose as of May 28.
