Dimapur, April 28 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dimapur Rajesh Soundararajan on Wednesday informed that there will be total restriction of all movement from Chathe River Bridge (Patkai junction) to Kukidolong Village from 7:00pm, May 1 till 5:00 am, May 3 and from 7:00pm, May 8 till 5:00 am, May 10.
The restriction is necessitated to facilitate the progress of the four lane construction and speedy completion of works, and as a precautionary measure to prevent any injury, loss of life and damage to property, the DC’s notification stated.
General public has been advised to take the alternative route from Dimapur-Kohima/Kohima-Dimapur for light vehicles only via 7th Mile- New DC Office-Shokhuvi- Razaphe- Mhaikham- Pimla- Mhainamtsi - Jhornapani/Medziphema and vice versa. All concerned may take note of the same for necessary action, the DC stated.
