Sakraba Students’ Union 56th general session held

A two-day long 56th general session of Sakraba Students’ Union (SSU) concluded under the theme ‘Discover the differences’ at Lohe Khel, Sakraba village in Phek district on December 29.
Gracing the inaugural session, Zaveyi Kezo, State Secretary BJP Nagaland called upon the people to pay due attention towards human resources development. In this, he upon the parents to invest more towards the development of intellectual, mental, physical, emotional, and social abilities in a child.
Stating that the holistic development of a child is of utmost importance, he also challenged the parents to continue to encourage their children to be an asset and not a liability to the society.
Touching on the session theme ‘Discover the differences,’ Kezo challenged the students to take a corrective step and decision for healthy and successful academic career.
He told the students to know their duties and discover their talents and abilities.
On union motto ‘Hard Labour triumph,’ Kezo informed that there is no shortcut to success and called upon the students to work hard and be achievers.
Citing the advantages and disadvantages of using mobile phone, he told the students to use the same for right purpose, and also not to misuse it.
Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) President Vetho Vadeo shared greetings while Centre Chakhesang Public Organization (CCPO) president Niehüsa Ciikhamu exhorted the gathering.

SSU election commissioner Lehü Lohe has announced the new team of SSU for the tenure 2022-2023. It will be led by Vetho Lohe as president with Küthono Cükhamu as general secretary.
Quiz competition also took place during the valedictory function this evening with Dozhoyi Cükhamu, assistant jailor, District Jail Phek as quiz master.
Earlier, Zhoi Lohe, SDO (C) Phek spoke at the introductory session cum seminar on “Focus on competitive exam” on December 28 last.
