Margaret Shishak School of Music, Patkai Christian College (Autonomous) held its Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Concert at the Bundrock Auditorium of the college campus on December 5.
Dimapur, December 6 (MExN): The Margaret Shishak School of Music, Patkai Christian College (Autonomous) held its Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Concert on December 5 at the Bundrock Auditorium of the college campus.
A press note from PCC mass communication stated that although the College was in the midst of its end semester examinations, the auditorium was packed with students, faculty and families, and well-wishers from off -campus that also included parents and alumni of the college.
The Christmas Tree was lighted by Dr Sedevi Angami, Director, CISHR, who is also a member of the BoT, Patkai, which was followed by a prayer offered by the former Principal of the College, Mr. Kolezo Chase. The repertoire for the concert consisted of selections with Latin and Spanish flavours, jazz, and spirituals, in addition to those with Christmas themes.
Various ensemble groups such as the Patkai High School Ensemble, Handchimes, Recorders, Guitar, Strings, the MSSM Singers, and the MSSM Chorus took the stage. The program closed with a prayer by Lipokmar Tzudir, Director, NCM.
