
Peren, May 4 (MExN): The Peren District Chamber of Commerce and Industries (PDCCI) today stated that it regret the recent incident recent issue of differences between Peren District CSO’s and the NTTU and noted that the issue is “self explanatory and require high understanding between both the parties.”
However, it stated that the drastic indefinite economic blockade called by the Nagaland Timber Traders Union (NTTU) was “very unfortunate and lackadaisical in nature” effecting the entire general public and business community.
Accordingly, the PDCCI requested the concern officials of NTTU to espouse the issue sensibly with its counterpart to prevail peace and tranquility amongst all section of people.
A press release issued by the PDCCI President Haizin Mpom further appealed all organisations/unions to concede that any action that is ‘supposed to posh harassment to the normal business activities so as to maintain mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence.’
“Any abrupt decision without proper intimidation and against the welfare of business community shall not be allowed in the near future,” it added.
