Dimapur, July 31 (MExN): The Joint Controller of Communication Accounts, Department of Telecommunications (DoT), NE-II Circle, organised a Pension Adalat at the BSNL Conference Hall in Dimapur on July 31 to address pension-related grievances and promote awareness of digital pension services.
Pensioners from Dimapur and nearby areas attended the programme and interacted with officials on issues related to their pensions. According to the organisers, grievances raised during the Adalat were resolved on the spot.
Officials also highlighted the Government's efforts to promote the use of Facial Authentication Technology for submitting Digital Life Certificates. Pensioners were informed that the Jeevan Pramaan app allows them to generate their Digital Life Certificate using facial authentication, enabling them to complete the process from home without visiting government offices.
Deputy Controller of Communication Accounts K Sajal said the initiative reflects the Government's continued commitment to improving pension services by making them more accessible, transparent and citizen-friendly through digital empowerment.
