Peren, October 9 (MExN): The Peren District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) monthly meeting was held under the chairmanship of ADC Peren, Moa Sangtam at DC's Conference Hall, Peren on October 6.
A DIPR reports stated that while reviewing the last meeting minutes, SDO (C), Kemciyile reminded the HoDs who are yet to conduct social work cum cleanliness drive in their respective offices and departmental premises to conduct at the earliest and also submit the report before the end of October month.
The agendas discussed in the meeting included; change of nomenclature of Mini-Secretariat which is to be set up at Tening town and after taking suggestion from the members present, the house agreed to change to Sub-divisional Office Complex.
The board members also discussed on the proposal submitted by the “Ntangki Forest Development Society” and after a deliberation the board agreed to approve and recommend it to the higher authority for further necessary action including opening of New Institution at Mhaikam Village.
During the meeting, International World Coffee Day was also observed wherein DPO Land Resources gave a short PowerPoint presentation.
