Peren, December 9 (MExN): Strict monitoring of COVID-19 vaccination card at check gates and adoptions of villages with limited inculcation were some of the key issues deliberated at the monthly Peren District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting on December 8.
Chairing the proceedings, Deputy Commissioner, Peren Sentiwapang Aier shared concern over the low coverage of vaccination drive in the district.
The assistance from the district heads and stakeholders are required in order to ensure 100% successful vaccination drives, he said.
While reviewing the last meeting minutes, the DC has reminded the district office heads to submit the accurate SDG data within one week, a DIPR report informed.
The house also reviewed the agendas for setting up of a public park at New Peren Hq and decided to approve and put forward for necessary action, it said.
During the meeting, the principal of Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) also informed that the school building established in 1947 was in dilapidated condition.
Accordingly, the principal submitted the agenda for renovation of classrooms and construction of additional three to four rooms for science lab.
After taking views and suggestions, the board agreed to endorse the proposal and further directed the principal to prepare necessary and relevant documents in support of the proposal, the report said.
The house also approved the proposal for registration of Mithun Society, Tening Village which was forwarded by ADC Tening.
