PFSCER holds leadership training for Pfutsero women

Pfutsero, August 2 (MExN): Parivartan Foundation for Social Change & Economic Reform (PFSCER), an NGO based in Delhi, conducted leadership training for women on July 29 at Town Hall, Pfutsero. 70 women participated in the programme, which was led by Teisono Koza, informed a press release from Rajesh Singh, Secretary, PFSCER. Resource person Zunyi-u Zhiemi, Matron of CHC Pfutsero, spoke on health & hygiene. She stated that the richness of health not only means being free from all diseases, but includes spiritual, physical, mental wellbeing. She lamented that there are many hospitals around, yet no special institute or places to teach on how to have a good health. “To have a good health, our habits are one of the most essential things. We should have good habits in order to prevent our self from all diseases; balanced diet should be maintained for a good and healthy life,” she stated. Zhiemi further mentioned that diseases like cancer, hypertension, heart diseases etc are known to be killer diseases, but all these can be prevented by having a balanced diet, regular check-up and cleanliness. She noted that medicines should be taken wisely in order to prevent side effects. The resource person also stressed that kitchen wastes should be properly disposed in order not to let flies and germs feed on them.
