Pfutsero, August 11 (MExN): Pfutsero Government College held its 36th literary cum cultural day with the theme ‘Reading the Past, writing the Future’ at the college auditorium on August 11.
Dr. Moanochet Longchar, Principal, Pfutsero Government College exhorted the students to come away from their shyness and be active in co-curricular activities to sharpen their skills and discover their hidden talents as it is through their active participation that one develops their leadership qualities and also learn skills of logic thinking.
“Culture being an important part of one’s life and identity, the Principal reminded the students to uphold and preserve it as when we abandon our culture, we abandon our identity,” he said.
The winners of the different competitions were as follows: Solo- Surholu Tunyi; Extempore-Kethozo Nakro; Debate- Vitsuto Dasai; Duet- The Hurricanes; Male Voice- The Hurricanes and Drama- The Scarlets.
