Phek, October 31 (MExN): The Pfutsero Police station party conducting vehicle checking below Pfutsero town intercepted one Maruti Alto vehicle coming towards the town around 7:30 pm on October 30. On seeing the police, the driver tried to flee but was arrested near Lekromi village after a hot pursuit along with 20 packets of Ganja weighing 10 kilos each concealed inside the vehicle. Police informed that the person was identified as Lhuveku Venyo of Thevopisu village residing at Seed Farm, Pfutsero town. According to police source, his accomplice is still absconding. He has been booked under NDPS Act under Pfutsero Police Station, police stated.
