PHEK, DECEMBER 17 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner of Phek, Sachin Jaiswal, IAS, has directed all landowners, governmental and non-governmental agencies to clear up and vacate the compensated buildings, plantations, fisheries and any other structures on the ROW along packages III, IV & V of the 2-lane Kohima – Jessami Road (Bharatmala Pariyojana) project. An order from the DC said that the same should be done within 15 days. The DC further stated that after the stipulated date, the land, compensated properties along the ROW would be taken possession of by the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporations Limited (MORTH) for construction of the road immediately without any further notice.
