Maligaon, February 22 (MExN): Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually lay foundation stone and dedicate 23 stations under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, six Road Under Bridges and two Road Over Bridges on February 26 over NF Railway.
To aware the masses about the upgraded and modern facilities that will be provided at stations under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme various programs were organized by NF Railway involving school students on the theme “Developed Nation & Developed Railway of 2047.”
A total of 12,510 school students participated in speech, essay, poetry writing, debate and drawing/painting competitions from over 91 schools under the jurisdiction of NF Railway. 1058 students emerged as winners in these competitions. The winners will be awarded during the foundation stone laying function by the Prime Minister, at the respective venues.
“The positive recognition that will bae given to the winning students in such a big event will surely boost and motivate them to work for the benefit of society in future. Also, this will encourage the participating students to know and understand about the work being done by Indian Railways for development of the region,” Sabyasachi De, Chief Public Relations Officer, NFR stated in a press release.
