Wokha, March 16 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner of Wokha, Orenthung Lotha, officially launched Poshan Pakhwada 2021 for Wokha district at Vungkuoju Anganwadi centre Wokha on March 16.
The DC Wokha speaking during the launching programme stressed on the importance on food forestry and ecological balance in order to produced maximum nutritional and organic food. The DC also planted a medicinal plant the Anganwadi Center to begin the forth night observation of Poshan Pakhwada month programmes.
The Child Development Project Officer, Wokha Myanlumo who chaired the programme informed that, today medicinal plant plantation programme was carried out across 124 Anganwadi centers under Wokha Project.
Welcome address was delivered by DPO Wokha, Imlitongzuk while the follow up programme till March 31 and the ministry aims and objectives about Poshan Pakhwada programme was highlighted Erenbeni, Sr Supervisor Wokha project to mark the day.
