Mon, May 23 (MExN): The Assistant Engineer (Trans), Mokokchung Transmission Division on Sunday informed that the Department of Power will be taking up intensive jungle clearance works along 66kV Nagnimora-Tizit Transmission Line from May 24 to June 5. In this regard, power supply to Mon District Hq and surrounding areas will be disrupted from (7:00-10:00) am and (2:30-5:00) pm daily, a press release from the department informed. This is necessitated as a measure to ensure stable power supply to Mon district before the onset of monsoon; it stated and requested affected consumers to bear with the inconvenience.
