Prayer for the “Highest Level Meeting” of the Naga Political leaders

One young pastor from Dimapur area sent an SMS message to the FNR saying: “….our Church has started a 40 day mid-night prayer for the Naga reconciliation and for the meeting of the Highest Level Leaders planned…” (Dated, 5 September, 2010)
FNR is very encouraged by similar messages from across Naga areas and the world. The prayers of God’s people and their tears will never go unheard. Based on God’s word we claim His promises:

• “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7: 14, NIV)

• “But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall.” (Malachi 4: 2)

God’s love is solely unconditional but we have to make the move to accept His offer. Let us be watchful lest we harvest the outcome of rejecting God’s offer to fall upon us.

Along with the Naga people, Christian communities from Australia, Denmark, Germany, Italy, UK, Singapore, Thailand, USA, Philippians, Burma, Finland, Sweden, Korea, Hong Kong, Cambodia, and the American Baptist Convention, African Baptist Union, European Baptist Union, Quakers, Baptist Peace Fellowship of North America and the Baptist Peace Network of the Asian Baptist Federation, will be joining the Nagas in prayers on Sunday, September 12, 2010.

The FNR once again, calls upon the churches, prayer centers, fellowships, including the Naga political group churches, to take a moment during Worship/Mass/Vesper and during family devotions remembering the following prayer items: Pray that:

• God will speak to the Naga leaders to follow His command for reconciliation among all Naga political groups through repentance and forgiveness

• That the “Highest Level Leaders” will attend the meeting whenever FNR arranges, without fail.
• That God will remove all unwanted hurdles through His mighty power

• To maintain strict adherence to the commitment of “the cessation of all offence activities (words or deeds) among the Naga political groups.

Let us, in faith, invoke God’s intervention and claim His promises with the right intention.
May God’s Shalom reign over us.
