Provisional prog for NLA session finalized

Session from February 12 to 20

Kohima, February 3 (MExN): The provisional programme for the forthcoming 7th Session of the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) have been finalized. The session has been scheduled for February 12 to 20 at NLA Secretariat, Kohima.

NLA’s Commissioner & Secretary Dr PJ Antony informed that the Business Advisory Committee held a meeting on February 2 at the Assembly Committee Room under the chairmanship of NLA speaker Sharingain Longkumer and finalised the provisional programme.

The session will witness Governor's Address, Obituary references, Motion of Thanks to the Governor's Address, Questions, Laying of Annual Administrative Reports, Laying of Reports/Rules, Presentation of Assembly Committee Reports, Debate and Adoption of Motion of Thanks to the Governor's Address, Introduction of Government Bills, Introduction of Government Resolution, Consideration and Passing of Government Bills, Consideration and Adoption of Government Resolution, Presentation of Supplementary Demand for Grants for the year 2020- 2021, Presentation of Budget for the Year 2021 -2022, Presentation of Supplementary Demand for Regularization of Excess Expenditure for the year 2012-2013, Presentation of Supplementary Demand for Regularization of Excess Expenditure for the year 2013-2014, Discussion on Matters of Urgent Public Importance, Discussion and Voting on Supplementary Demand for Grants for the year 2020- 2021, Introduction, Consideration and Passing of the Nagaland Appropriation (No.l) Bill, 2021, Discussion and Voting on the Budget for the year 2021-2022, Presentation of Comptroller and Auditor General of India Report (C&AG), Introduction. Consideration and Passing of the Nagaland Appropriation (No.2) Bill, 2021, Discussion and Voting on Supplementary Demand for Regularization of Excess Expenditure for the year 2012-2013, Discussion and Voting on Supplementary Demand for Regularization of Excess Expenditure for the year 2013-2014, Introduction, Consideration and Passing of the Nagaland Appropriation (No.3) Bill, 2021, Introduction, Consideration and Passing of the Nagaland Appropriation (No.4) Bill, 2021 and Announcement of the Constitution of various Financial and Non- Financial Committees and Panel of Chairmen by the Speaker.
