Dimapur, July 29 (MExN): The Peshu Range Students’ Union (PRSU) initiated a road restoration work between Peshu village and Thonoknyu town from July 21 to 27.
The media cell of PRSU stated that the initiative was supported and financed by the District Administration Noklak and MLA Benei M Lamthiu.
Mention may be made that a stretch of 15 Kms was left unattended for many years. The restoration of this road, which is the lifeline for people of Thonoknyu area, will facilitate smooth flow of vehicles both passengers and private, the release stated.
The union has acknowledged all those individuals, councils of the area, TAPO, sitting MLA and the District Administration for all the support and cooperation in fulfilling the much need aspiration of the people of the area. The PRSU further appealed the people of Thonoknyu area to continue to cooperate in all initiatives for public welfare.
