Phek, October 27 (MExN): The Phek Town Chakhesang Students Union (PTCSU) 1st Union Assembly was held at PTC Conference hall on October 26.
PTCSU Speaker, Sekukho Tetseo in a press release stated that the house deliberated on organising ‘Spring Feast’ events in order to explore the hidden talents such as music, food, dance, cultural attires, and literary activities.
The house resolved to request the Chakhesang Students Union for approval of ILP authorization verification within Phek Town jurisdiction. The PTCSU also deliberated to inspect and streamline the scholarship filling charges from the shopkeeper within Phek headquarters. It also endorsed the Executive Council to conduct one day social work at the site of PTCSU plot.
The assembly was chaired by Speaker Sekukho Testseo; God’s blessing was invoked by Police Baptist Church, Phek Town, Youth Director Rukuzo Rhakho; Deputy Speaker Thujongoto Lohe read the PTCSU preamble; and Assembly Secretary Veila Rhakho was the recorder. The closing prayer was pronounced by Khrukulu Rhakho, Woman Coordinator, PTCSU.
Altogether 46 members representing different units attended the assembly along with senior leaders.
