Pungro, August 12 (MExN): The 2nd Inter-school Spelling Bee Competition 2018 of the Pungro Town Students’ Union (PTSU) was conducted on August 11 at Cultural Hall, Pungro Town, under the theme, ‘The thinker builder.’
PTSU in a press release stated that Pentsumong Wilson, President, PTSU in the presidential address welcomed the gathering and enlightened on the importance of conducting such events.
Sanjay Prasad, PGT GHSS, the guest speaker for the event elaborated on the importance of Phonetic English while stressing on the importance of conducting such events, with the notion that only through these exposure to the outer world, will the students get to come out of their pond.
Rasuka Jacob, David Deshilen, Vothong Moses were the judges for the Prepared Speech, Painting and Essay Writing while AdiLen Kipzz was the Pronouncer for the Spelling Bee. Alen A Yimchunger, Former President PTSU sponsored the prices for the events.
