Pughoboto, October 19 (MExN): Pughoboto Sub Division Planning & Development Board (SDPDB) monthly meeting was held under the chairmanship of ADC and Vice Chairman SDPDB, Pughoboto Thungchanbemo Tungoe at the DB’s Court hall, Pughoboto on October 19.
On behalf of EE (R&B) office Pughoboto, JE Moa presented power point presentation on various ongoing CSS projects under Pughoboto Sub division as on October 2020.
The ongoing projects include construction of road from Kijumetuoma to Ghathashi via Phuyeqa, Chishiqa and Tkuliqa including two numbers of 25 meters span bridge- Phase I under EI Scheme, construction of road from Kijumetuoma to Kughu river via Iphonu, Ghathashi, Mukali, Shesulimi and Kichilimi (Phase II from Ghathashi to Tsui River), construction of RCC Bridge over Tsuyi River between Asukiqa and Pughoboto under Economic importance, construction of RCC Bridge over Tsui River between Ghathashi and Hebolmi under Economic Importance and construction of RCC Bridge (20 m span) over Khughu River.
“Some works are in progress while some are temporary halted due to monsoon and is likely to resume very soon,” JE Moa stated according to a DIPR report.
SMO CHC Pughoboto, Dr J Hokugha Sema presented the health care set up of Pughoboto block and the scrub typhus which occurred in division. The SMO apprised the citizens to keep their vicinity clean. People should come forward to test the HIV/AIDS, etc from the Lab service available at Pughoboto, Dr Hokugha also urged.
As part of Pughoboto cleanliness award campaign, the house deliberated the cleaning of colony and wards in Pughoboto town and asked the citizens to clean up their vicinity. ADC directed the Heads of offices to organize social work in their respective surrounding.
