Pungro, May 23 (MExN): The Pungro Area College Students’ Union has directed all the medical staff of Community Health Centres (CHCs), Primary Health Centres (PHCs) and Sub-Centres under Pungro subdivision to be in their respective places of posting, latest by May 27. The union issued the directive in a press release on Sunday, drawing attention to the rise in positive cases in the second wave of COVID-19 in the State. It also cautioned that on failure to comply with the directive, “the Union shall initiate its own course of action.” It further stated that the Community Health Officer (CHO) of PHC Kiusam was transferred without a reliever. In this regard the Union asked the concerned authority to fill the post immediately.
