DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 8 (MExN): A ‘Quiz on Madhya Pradesh’ was organised in Nagaland University headquarters Lumami on December 6 as part of THE Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) initiative of the Government of India.
The programme was organised for the 26 PG students who are part of EBSB Club (NU). In all, 8 students took part in the quiz programme held in the Conference Hall of the Department of Geography. The Q&A for the quiz was provided by Dr HarisinghGourVishwavidyalaya, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, the partner University of Nagaland University for the EBSB activities.
The quiz masters were Dr. Rumi Dhar, Asst Prof, Department of Law and Peter Ki, PRO & Nodal Person, EBSB. Judging was done by Dr Gyati Yam, Asst Prof, Department of Forest Science.
Following three rounds of questions ranging from history and culture to current affairs of Madhya Pradesh, three students were adjudged as winners. NongmeiPhom (Dept of Zoology), Elizabeth (Dept of EVS), and BimanGogoi (Dept of Botany) were declared first, second, and third placed winners respectively.
The prizes were given away by Prof Wangshimenla Jamir, Dean Students Welfare & Convener, EBSB Club (NU).
